  • The Nassau Board of County Commissioners invites you to a festive evening of joy and wonder at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Robert M. Foster Justice Center (76347 Veterans Way) in Yulee.

A healthy future for Nassau County - Healthy Kids Day!

Thanks for joining us at Healthy Kids Day, a FREE community event at Tributary Regional Park. The event included sports skills and drills, soccer games, family fitness activities, STEM project collaboration, vendors, archery from the Y’s friends from overnight camp, and more.

A beautiful day for the 19th Railroad Day Fest & Car Show.

The West Nassau Historical Society thanks you all for attending the 19th Railroad Day Festival & Classic Car Show at the historic Callahan Train Depot. The event included live entertainment, antique machines, model trains, exhibits, caboose tours, and more. The Classic Car Show was hosted by Callahan Cruisers and Cochrane's Collision Center, and the kids' area was hosted by Joel Pace Piano and Music.

Thanks for kicking off summer with the Opening of the Beaches!

This FREE, family-friendly event featured activities for all ages including a Kids Zone, Touch-a-Truck, Skateboard Competition, Food Trucks, Beer Garden, and more!

Featured on the music stage – brought to you by The Amelia - was live music by local favorites, The Honey Badgers, and special guests Laid Back and The Liberty Blues Band.

The Opening of the Beaches Event was paired with the 15th Annual Wild Amelia Nature Festival, brought to you by Keep Nassau Beautiful, which included exhibits and live animals at the Wild Amelia Eco-Expo!

Special thank you to our partners the Amelia Island Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Fernandina Beach.

Further south from 8 am to 11 am at Peters Point (4600 Peters Point Road) was the Isle of 8K Beach Run, presented by the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Hilliard, Callahan, & the County enjoyed celebrating America’s birthday with you!

We hope you enjoyed the live music, pie bake-off contest, watermelon eating contest, food/drink vendors, carnival games, ‘most patriotic’ dressed contest!

'Resin'ating facts about one of Nassau's former primary industries!

Conners A-maize-ing Acres Nassau County Corn Maize Revealed!

Conner's celebrated its 2024 Corn Maze Grand Opening Event on Saturday, September 28! Thanks for being part of the County's 200th birthday celebration!

This beautiful farm has been operating since 1949. It opened its doors to the public 22 years ago to bring wholesome, family fun to the community through its annual corn maze, sunflower festival, field trips, and more!

Thanks for exploring Nassau County to learn more about all its wonders!

As part of our year-long Bicentennial Celebration, the County hosted a Scavenger Hunt featuring photo challenges, quizzes, and information about Nassau County's history. The Scavenger Hunt was designed to take the community over the County to places never seen or heard about.

The Scavenger Hunt took place from October 1 to November 2, 2024. Participants had a whole month to complete the challenge at their own pace. Each participant who completed the challenge earned a special Bicentennial Challenge Coin and was entered into a drawing for a hotel stay on Amelia Island.
